I'm an avid outdoor enthusiast (when we're not buried in snow). You'll often find me clearing my head in the serenity of nature, whether exploring local hiking trails, enjoying the beaches of Lake Simcoe, or simply spending time with loved ones around a bonfire. Nature is definitely my happy place!

Through high school and into university, my heart was set on becoming a veterinarian. I earned a degree in Animal Biology in 2012, and spent 5 years in a veterinary clinic learning as much as I possibly could. My love for all pets extends to my own home, where I've shared my life with dogs, cats, rabbits & fish, and now a rambunctious flock of parrots.

I'm deeply rooted in giving back, inspired by my parents' ongoing community service. Each year, I help lead the Simcoe County Gutsy Walk committee for Crohn's and Colitis Canada. Additionally, I enjoy supporting Mother Daughter Empower, an organization who's work is empowering the next generation of girls and women.

How It All Started
For a solid decade, I threw myself fully into a career in retail management. Then, in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic, I had my Wicked moment and something changed within me. The inability to be with my friends and family hit hard, and I realized that life was meant for more than just work. What I craved was the freedom to say yes to friends and family, set my own schedule, and focus on the people who truly matter to me.
In October 2022, I took a leap of faith and launched Brandyn Hollands Photography — something I'd never really thought possible. Since then, I've had the incredible privilege of working with remarkable local entrepreneurs and brands, helping them shape their image and drive growth. Today, my mission is to extend that same hand to help your brand thrive.
